With the Apocalypse derailed the world should be in a state of peace, but what is happening is nothing close to peace. Supernatural creatures are appearing in massive numbers and some of them haven't ever been seen before. Hunters are grouping together to try and stem the tide, but there's only so much that can be done. The Earth isn't the only place in a state of chaos, however. Heaven's angels have started a civil war. Half want Raphael to take God's place and the other half are following in Castiel's footsteps, making their own path and fighting against the power.
No one knows how or why it happened, but Sam Winchester is back from the depths of Hell, but he's not the only one. Samuel Campbell, Sam and Dean's grandfather, was brought down from Heaven. Reluctant and yet eager, Dean joins Sam in the hunt again, promising to visit Lisa and Ben whenever he can possibly get the chance.
Weapons of Heaven have been stolen by Balthazar and he's been selling said items to people looking for justice...for a price. Their souls. Sam and Dean, with the occasional help from Castiel, are in search of these weapons, attempting to gather them all before Raphael's own army can gather them and use them in the fight for power.
